For a safe and correct selection, you should always consider the following 3 critical parameters:<\/p>\r\n

\ud83d\udd32 Gas type and chemical properties \u2014 corrosiveness, toxicity, and flammability:<\/strong> The nature of the gas determines the body material and even the thread direction of the cylinder valve. For greater safety in design, flammable and fuel gases such as acetylene and hydrogen are necessarily equipped with left-hand thread valves, while neutral, asphyxiant, and oxygen gases use right-hand thread valves.<\/p>\r\n

\ud83d\udd32 Working pressure and pressure rating:<\/strong> Standard gas cylinders are typically available in three pressure classes: 150, 200, and 300 bar. All selected accessories \u2014 including pressure gauges, regulators, and fittings \u2014 must be able to withstand the cylinder's outlet pressure; otherwise, there is a risk of explosion or deformation of the parts.<\/p>\r\n

\ud83d\udd32 Grade and end use \u2014 industrial, medical, or laboratory:<\/strong> Laboratory- and medical-grade equipment and accessories are made from special materials such as stainless steel or chrome-plated brass to prevent gas contamination and purity loss.
